Miksi Early Access?

Since 2008 we worked on it every 6 months or so... usually for a week or two stretches. In 2010 we worked on Golf inside the Circus Circus Casino and Resort and we invented team speed golf where you just have to get it in the hole fast. One guy would hit it off the tee while the other guy was driving his cart trying to be right there when it landed. One of us only spent 20 dollars the whole week. 10 dollars on a cooler and 10 dollars on a five dollar foot long sandwich.

This build contains much improved versions of the holes we made to show Valve in 2008. We will hopefully make enough money to continue working on it.

Golf for Workgroups is a competently designed golf course, ball, player and cart simulation with a swing component designed to be satisfying. Includes free roaming golfer and caddy using industry standard WASD and mouse layout. Up to four players each navigate a biped around a height field texture mapped to look like a golf hole.

Game Modes


Stroke Play: Classic stroke for stroke golf scoring.

Skins: Players compete per hole for points for a cumulative total. Ties carry over to the next hole.

Speed: Individuals compete to put the ball in the hole the fastest.

Team Speed: Teams compete to put the ball in the hole the fastest.

Team Skins: Both players on a team take a shot, best ball is the start of next shot.
