With light sources scarce, you carry a gas lamp to help you unearth secrets. It's old and will dim over time, letting the shadows creep in... give it a shake to reinvigorate the flame.

Use your light to explore secretive hallways and bedrooms and if you see something interesting, click on it! Possessions once loved by their inhabitants have sat forgotten, but no longer. Special objects you find hold secrets of their own, each one unlocking a diary entry (viewable in the gallery) that provide glimpses into the protagonist's unsettling past.
