What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“This is an interactive story where "making a living" is written into every single branch. We want players to step onto this street before the story is fully finished — play it, and tell us which scenes landed and which systems still feel rough. Early Access lets us sharpen the endings, side stories, and life-sim gameplay against real player feedback, instead of polishing in a vacuum.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“about six months”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version is planned to add: every main-story ending, more character side stories and conversations, additional CG art and portraits, and balance/feel adjustments driven by player feedback.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access build currently includes: a portion of the prologue, along with top-down exploration, the street-food cart, delivery gigs, fishing, Go and chess, and other core survival gameplay, as well as multiple interactive characters.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan to gradually increase prices with the launch of new content and features”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We'll keep sharing development progress through store announcements, the community hub, and our social channels. Every piece of feedback you give — on story direction, life-sim feel, or ending design — directly shapes what we build next. Tell us in the discussions: what kind of life do you want this young man to end up living?”

About This Game

Try every way of making a living.

Abin is 24, two years out of college, still out of work. He owes ten thousand yuan on his phone, and the last fifty yuan sits in his wallet. Nobody on this street remembers his name — they just call him "the one living in the back room."

If you want to survive, you have to earn it yourself.

The street-food cart — wok your way to a living.

Buy a second-hand food cart, stock up on ingredients, watch the heat, control the doneness, season it right, and serve the neighbors. With every toss of the wok, your reputation grows, and the regulars keep coming back.

Delivery gigs — riding the streets.

Hop on an e-bike and take orders. How well you know the roads decides how many runs you land and how much you make. The evening breeze by the river, the traffic lights at the corner — all part of the grind.

Fishing — a little spare cash.

Settle onto a stool by the river, pick a rod, choose your bait. Each cast is a four-step dance — power, waiting, hooking, tension. Drop a crucian carp or a carp into the keepnet, and it's cash in hand before long.

Chess and Go — double or nothing.

By the game tables in Evergreen Park, play a full nineteen-line game of Go with captures and counting, or set up a proper game of xiangqi. Win and take double your stake; lose and settle up. Sometimes a worthy opponent is worth more than the money.

When nothing else works — tear down walls, do odd jobs.

Sweat for cash: the most honest work, and the most exhausting. Every yuan goes into the ledger, and every debt gets paid back, one entry at a time.

A cast of people, one street.

Make a living in the streets by day, come back to the rented room at night, and slowly get to know everyone living on this street. Eight women you can grow close to, plus neighbors, coworkers, cops, and debt collectors — some pull you up, and some drag you down.

Your choices really do change your fate.

The debts you owe, the things you've done, the hearts you've touched — it all adds up, leading to 7 completely different endings.

About the gameplay: a serious visual-novel story and top-down exploration running side by side, sharing a single save — every yuan you save is the same yuan in both.
