Miksi Early Access?

We have been having fun with The Maestros for a very long time now, but the truth is, the six of us working on this game simply cannot imagine all the possible strategies, skill levels, bugs, and perspectives our players will have.

Through Early Access, we hope to test and hone in on new, core game modes that really make the best use of The Maestro’s unique game mechanics. Additionally, we want player’s input crafting the unique playstyle and identity of our new second faction, The Alchemists of Regalis, so they feel different enough to play, but still at home in our world. We think player’s input on these elements and more will help the final version of The Maestros be a vastly better game.

Miten kauan peli tulee arviolta olemaan Early Access -vaiheessa?

I suspect it could be about a year, but that is subject to change based on what we see when it's out in the wild. In particular, based on what features we see our community is really in need of.

Mikä on Early Access -version tila tällä hetkellä?

The Maestros has been played by thousands of players over several years, but it is still very much in beta, so it will definitely have bugs, things to balance, and lots of things to improve. Everything listed in the "About This Game" section is already implemented, including a leveling system to unlock commanders and their factions, 3v3 multiplayer, and leaderboards we will post on our website regularly.

Muuttuuko pelin hinta Early Access -vaiheen jälkeen?

The price is unlikely to change on release.

Miten yhteisö otetaan mukaan kehitysprosessiin?

The goal is to actively gather feedback from intermittent surveys, forum discussions, and sometimes just putting out features that we aren't sure will work to see how people use them. In particular, we think there's a lot of need to evolve our second faction, The Alchemists of Regalis, and our game mode(s) to best use the mechanics that make The Maestros different from other games.

Tietoa pelistä

Pick a commander from the dieselpunk Knights of Teutonia or the futuristic Alchemists of Regalis, and guide them and their squadron of wildy cuddly and mildly vicious minions to victory on the mysterious floating isles of Tenshii. Your team's goal is to eliminate the enemy commanders off the face of the island.

First, seek out and battle neutral monsters in order to gather basic minions. Then, gain control of transform points around the map where you can mutate your basic minions into larger and more powerful ones, each with their own special ability. Choose the perfect combination of minions and their abilities to trap, blast, or melt all the enemy team's commanders and win the round. Finally, rinse their tears off your good mouse hand, and repeat the process once more.
