About This Game

Gonfalon is a medieval real-time strategy game where you don't click every soldier: you plant a banner, and your army marches to it and fights around it.

Lead with banners

• Plant a banner and your soldiers march to it.

• Morale matters: when it's low, your units may refuse your orders.

Grow a village

• Villagers farm, chop wood, cut stone, mine gold and fish. They pick their jobs on their own.

• New buildings unlock as your village grows.

A world that fights back

• Graves rise as ghosts at night, but they fear the light.

• Chop down too many trees and an Ent may appear.

• Gold mines, ruins and chests appear in the wild, some guarded by monsters.

• Lay rails and a cart rolls your mine's gold home.

The frozen north

• Turn on snow and the north of the map freezes: frozen lakes you can walk across.

• Yetis guard rich veins of gold.

• Send dog sleds to trade with the tribe that lives there.

Explosions you can watch

• Every hit, fire and blast is made of single pixels that fly, bounce and stain the ground.

Matches

• 2 to 8 kingdoms on a map generated for every match.

• 10–20 minutes per match.

• Play against bots.
