About This Game

"Blue Hawaii Aniki"—a self-proclaimed film director—hosts a low-budget, late-night variety show titled *Blue Hawaii Aniki’s Soft "On-Demand"*. It’s a quirky program featuring six recurring segments, four of which are aired in each episode.

Meet a country girl—a strawberry farmer—who lives her life like a charismatic icon of the Gothic Lolita scene; a recent graduate on a leave of absence who wishes she could "start over from kindergarten"; and a former office accountant whose special talent is holding punching mitts. Follow a man, worn down by life in a bleak industrial zone, who finds a new "springtime" in his life, accompanied by traditional spring-themed Japanese sweets. And discover a school for adults who have opted out of the corporate rat race—a place to "re-learn" their youth. Meanwhile, with only six months left until his massive 50,000-capacity event, *ANIKIJAPAN2027*, "Aniki" finds himself clutching his head in despair as ticket sales remain stubbornly stagnant...

A B-list protagonist, a cast of B-list characters—dive in and enjoy this thoroughly "B-grade" entertainment, woven together by a motley crew of misfits.

[Can I start from Vol. 5?]

Yes, you can! While this is part of a series, each volume is self-contained and can be enjoyed on its own. You won’t find yourself lost or unable to follow the story just because you haven’t read the previous installments.

(Of course, reading the series in order will allow you to enjoy it even more!)
