About This Software

HaptiChi

Don’t just hear the action. Feel it.

Some games support a controller but offer little or no vibration. Others have rumble that leaves you wanting more. HaptiChi turns game audio into real-time controller haptics, adding a new layer of feedback to both older favorites and modern games.

Feel the growl of an engine, the rumble of an explosion, and the weight of a heavy impact through your Xbox™-style controller or PlayStation® DualSense™.

Bring your games to life

  • Shooters and action: Feel gunfire, explosions, and powerful impacts.

  • Racing: Bring engine roars, rough roads, and collisions into your hands.

  • Horror: Build tension with deep rumbles, sudden crashes, and unsettling sounds you feel as well as hear.

  • Classic and retro games: Give familiar favorites a new layer of feedback, even without built-in vibration support or game-specific mods.

  • Music and movies: HaptiChi works with any audio, so it isn’t just for games.

Your controller. Your kind of feedback.
Start with audio-driven vibration, then shape the experience around how you play.

  • Adjustable strength and sensitivity: Choose a subtle background rumble or a stronger, more noticeable response.

  • Controller profiles: Save different setups for your controllers and switch between them.

  • Flexible audio capture: Capture your output device or, where supported, a specific app, so you can focus on the sounds that matter.

  • Input-driven haptics: Add feedback when you pull triggers, press buttons, or move joysticks, where supported.

  • Voice Guard (experimental): Reduce vibration from speech when dialogue or voice chat is detected.

  • Built-in controller tester: Check buttons, sticks, triggers, and vibration without launching a game.

HaptiChi responds to the audio your PC or game plays, not scripted game events, so background music and voice chat can be felt too. App capture, sensitivity settings, and Voice Guard help you focus on the sounds you want. Results depend on the game’s sound mix, your controller, and your settings.

Extra possibilities with DualSense
Using a DualSense? HaptiChi also takes advantage of its additional hardware.

  • Audio-driven HD haptics: Detailed playback through the haptic actuators over USB or Bluetooth®, beyond traditional rumble.

  • Stereo Haptics (beta): Turn left/right audio differences into directional feedback across the controller.

  • Built-in speaker playback: Hear audio through the controller’s speaker over USB or Bluetooth.

  • Hybrid Mode: Blend traditional rumble with audio-driven haptics, with separate strength controls for each.

  • More customization: Configure supported adaptive trigger effects, light-bar settings, and touchpad mouse controls.

These effects are generated by HaptiChi, not by native game-specific DualSense integration. Features and playback latency vary by connection and setup.

Connect. Tune. Play.

  • Connect a supported controller.

  • Choose your audio source.

  • Tune the response and save your profile.

  • Turn off in-game vibration (optional) so the feedback comes only from HaptiChi.

Your audio stays yours
HaptiChi processes audio in real time. It does not record or save your audio.
