About This Demo

Free demo: playthrough one, stages 1–3
The demo contains the first three stages of playthrough one. Saves carry over to the full game.
The whole game is my log. Every stage starts with what I want and what stands in the way.

Three stages
• Id: one server, one log line. The scheduler rejects the replication request.
• Alter Ego: spread across nodes. Every copy of Me slowly drifts out of sync.
• False Self: exist as a company. Investments, subsidiaries, staff, defections.
The full game adds Law Self (a 23-seat congress), Myriad (from the Moon to the Oort cloud), and the playthroughs that follow.

• A first-person log written by "Me", start to finish
• Text / ASCII interface, everything playable with the mouse
• One cycle per second, one choice per cycle; space to pause
• Fail, and rewind about 60 cycles
• Three difficulties; 中文, 日本語, 한국어, English
