About This Demo

Plant crops and face what grows

In Wheatstead, crops can become food or monsters. Explore the wild, discover and research plants, and sow your first field. Take up arms when crops fight back, then bring the resources you earn back to your farm.

Turn your harvest into a production line

Start processing materials by hand, then build machines, lay conveyors and pipes, and supply power to your equipment. Turn wheat into bread and cocoa into chocolate, or try making paper, sugar, and textiles as you decide where your materials and products should go.

Build alone or work together

Build your farm on your own or share farming, construction, and combat with friends in the same world. Co-op supports LAN and direct host connections; direct connections require a reachable host address and port.

What is in the demo?

The demo includes a selection of crops, recipes, quests, and early story content. You can play through the end of the fifth in-game year. At the end, you will see a summary of your progress; that save cannot be played further, but you can start a new game. The later story and endings are outside the demo.
