About This Game

One platform, two types of goods and no starting funds. In Haste Makes Waste, you begin by moving cargo yourself: lift goods from the delivery train and load them onto the right outbound train. Use your first earnings to hire help and grow your little freight station, one upgrade at a time.

Let your crew take over

Hire workers, train them and assign them to tracks and work areas. As your crew moves cargo, keep an eye on the operation. Decide where another pair of hands would help and when it is worth investing in more training.

Find the bottleneck

A longer train does little good if nobody can load the extra wagons. Watch where goods pile up and where your crew is stretched thin. Invest in staff, more wagons, storage spaces or better conveyors. What you see on the platform helps you choose your next upgrade.

Expand into warehousing and trade

Expand your freight station and warehouse terminal to three platforms each. Discover all 20 types of goods and upgrade your conveyors and warehouse capacity. Follow changing market prices, buy stock and arrange its sale. Track income, expenses and wages in the finance overview.

Progress while the game is running

Your crew works automatically while the game is running and unpaused. When you close it, your station waits for your return: there is no offline progress. Save your game and pick up where you left off.
