About This Game

Settsu, Harima, Tamba, Tajima, Awaji...
Five nations inspired by Hyogo Prefecture, Japan. A hesitant prince and his companions set out on a journey across them all.

A fantasy RPG that wraps the local flavor of Hyogo in a medieval European-style world.

WHAT IS HYOGO?

Hyogo is a prefecture in western Japan, home to the port city of Kobe, Himeji Castle and the famous Kobe beef.
It was created in the 1870s by joining all or part of five old provinces: Settsu, Harima, Tamba, Tajima and Awaji.
Even today, each region has its own dialect, food and character. The north faces the snowy Sea of Japan, the south faces the calm Seto Inland Sea, and Awaji is an island of its own.
Hyogo is so diverse that Japanese internet users jokingly call it "Hyogoslavia", as if it were five countries under one flag.

This game takes that joke seriously: what if those five provinces really were five nations?

STORY

Hyogoslavia: a federation of five nations, each with its own agenda.
Tamon, second prince of Settsu, spends his days running errands for the king.
Then he is sent on a journey that will decide the fate of his country...
