What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“The Fight Business is launching in Early Access because we believe the best way to develop a deep and immersive MMA management simulator is alongside the community that will play it.

As a small independent development studio, our ambition is to create a detailed, realistic and continuously evolving MMA management experience. Early Access provides an opportunity to work closely with players, gather valuable feedback and refine the game throughout its development.

While our core vision and gameplay systems are established, we recognise that areas such as fighter progression, tactical balancing, 3D fight simulations and overall management depth can benefit enormously from real player experiences.

We want the community to play an active role in shaping the future of The Fight Business, helping us identify improvements, prioritise new features and address issues that emerge during extended gameplay.

Our goal is not simply to release a game and move on, but to build something that continues to improve with every update.

Early Access gives us the opportunity to develop transparently, listen to our players and gradually deliver the most comprehensive and enjoyable MMA management experience possible.

The Fight Business is built around long-term progression, and we believe its development should be too.
”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We currently anticipate The Fight Business remaining in Early Access for approximately 3–6 months.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Our primary focus will be on expanding the depth of existing management systems, refining fighter development and progression, improving tactical decision-making and enhancing the overall realism of the MMA world.

We also intend to make significant improvements to our 3D fight simulation, including more realistic animations, smoother transitions, improved fighter reactions and a more immersive fight-night presentation.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Fight Business enters Early Access with its core management systems in place, offering players a playable MMA management experience with a wide range of features already implemented.

Players can scout and recruit fighters, manage their careers, develop training programmes, hire coaching staff, prepare tactical game plans and compete across a simulated MMA world featuring multiple promotions, rankings and championships.

The game also includes a 3D fight simulation system, allowing players to watch their fighters compete and see their tactical decisions unfold inside the cage.

While the core gameplay experience is established, certain aspects remain under active development. These include improvements to fight animations, simulation realism, gameplay balancing, performance optimisation and overall user interface polish.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We're not planning on changing the price when we leave early access.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Community feedback will play an important role in shaping the development of The Fight Business throughout Early Access.

As a small independent studio, we want to build a close relationship with our players, encouraging open communication, constructive feedback and suggestions that help us improve the game.

We plan to actively engage with players through Steam Community Discussions, where we will welcome bug reports, feature suggestions, balancing feedback and general discussions about the game.

Player feedback will be particularly valuable in refining our MMA simulation, fighter progression, tactical systems and long-term career gameplay. We also intend to use community suggestions to help prioritise future improvements and new features.”

About This Game

Every champion has a team behind them. Build yours.

Take control of the world of mixed martial arts in The Fight Business, an in-depth MMA management simulation where every decision can shape a fighter's career.

Discover unknown prospects, develop future champions, assemble your coaching staff and prepare your fighters for the biggest nights of their lives. From regional promotions to world championship glory, build your reputation and leave your mark on the sport.

The fighters do the fighting. You make the decisions that define their careers.

Every legendary fighter starts somewhere.

Scout the next generation of talent, uncover hidden potential and build a roster capable of competing at the highest level. Whether you invest in promising young prospects or established veterans, every signing brings new opportunities and challenges.

Manage individual careers, track fighter development and make the decisions that take your team from relative obscurity to championship contention.

  • Scout fighters with unique skills, attributes and fighting styles.

  • Recruit and develop the next generation of MMA talent.

  • Manage your roster and guide fighters through their careers.

  • Build a reputation through victories, championships and long-term success.

Champions aren't born. They're built.

Success inside the cage begins long before fight night. Take control of your fighters' development by organising training camps, recruiting specialist coaches and building a team capable of competing against the world's best.

Every fighter has strengths to maximise, weaknesses to address and a limited amount of time to reach their potential.

Will you build a devastating knockout artist, a relentless wrestler or a complete mixed martial artist?

  • Create individual training plans to develop specific attributes.

  • Hire coaches and improve your training environment.

  • Prepare fighters for upcoming opponents.

  • Balance development, preparation and long-term career progression.

The right game plan can change everything.

Every opponent presents a different challenge. Analyse their strengths, identify vulnerabilities and prepare a strategy that gives your fighter the best possible chance of victory.

Take control of your tactical approach, from striking aggression and distance management to wrestling, clinch work and ground fighting.

Your decisions influence how your fighters approach each contest, but once the cage door closes, anything can happen.

  • Develop tailored strategies for individual opponents.

  • Control aggression, pace, movement and fighting range.

  • Adjust striking, wrestling and grappling priorities.

  • Watch your tactical decisions play out during simulated fights.

The world of MMA doesn't revolve around your fighters.

Across multiple promotions, thousands of fighters compete for recognition, rankings and championship opportunities. New prospects emerge, established champions decline and entire divisions evolve as the years pass.

Follow the careers of rivals, track changes in the rankings and navigate a competitive landscape that continues to develop around you.

The next superstar could emerge from anywhere. Will you discover them first?

  • Compete across a world of MMA promotions and championships.

  • Follow evolving rankings, title histories and fighter careers.

  • Experience the rise and fall of different generations of fighters.

  • Build your legacy within a constantly changing sporting world.

There is no guaranteed path to greatness.

A promising prospect might become an unstoppable champion. A veteran written off by the world might have one final title run left in them. A carefully prepared game plan might deliver the biggest victory of your career — or fall apart in seconds.

Every signing, training camp, tactical decision and fight contributes to a story that is uniquely yours.

Build a roster. Develop champions. Conquer the rankings.

Leave your legacy. Become a Legend.

AI Generated Content Disclosure

The developers describe how their game uses AI Generated Content like this:

Generative AI was used in a limited capacity during the development of The Fight Business, primarily to assist with the creation of certain 2D artwork and 3D models.

As a small independent development studio with limited financial resources, AI-assisted asset creation was an important and necessary tool in helping us achieve our creative vision without the substantial costs associated with traditional asset production.

AI usage was restricted to specific visual elements and was not intended to replace the creative direction, game design or core development of the project.

The Fight Business remains an independently developed game, with its management systems, gameplay mechanics and overall vision driven by our development team. AI simply provided a practical way to overcome some of the resource limitations faced by a small indie studio.
