What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Cursor Ship is fully playable today, and I want players to shape where it goes next. Early Access lets me add stages, enemies and languages based on real feedback, and tune the speed and difficulty with the people actually playing it.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“About 6 months.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version will add more stages and new kinds of enemies and bosses, an endless score-attack mode, online leaderboards, more language options, and further balance and performance polish.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“5 stages from the Solar System to deep space, swing-by speed boosts, enemy swarms, a rank system from G upward, the King Cursor boss, slow-motion on big swing-bys, and mouse or gamepad controls. The game is stable and playable from start to finish.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The price may rise slightly at full release as more content is added. Buying during Early Access is the cheapest way to get the game.
”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“I read every Steam review and discussion post, share development progress on X (@2satsu3) and YouTube, and run polls on which stages and features to build next. Older versions stay available as beta branches so players can compare changes.”

About This Game

A cursor. A solar system. Way too much speed.

Cursor Ship is a mouse-only 3D shooter set across the Sun, Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune.

Swing-by to break the limit — Dive into a planet's gravity well and whip around it. Every swing pushes your top speed higher.

Swarms to shred — Enemy arrows come in packs. Chain kills for huge combos and keep ranking up.

Mouse only — Point to steer. You always fly forward and fire automatically. Hold and release left click for a giant shot, right click to dash.

King Cursor — A giant boss cursor is waiting for you.

Don't touch the Sun. Seriously.

Early Access: Cursor Ship is being built in the open. New stages, enemies and languages will be added through frequent updates. Previous versions stay available as beta branches, so you never lose the version you love.

AI tools (Anthropic's Claude) were used to help write the game's program code during development. All in-game visuals, including planets and ships, are drawn procedurally by the game's own code, and the game does not generate any content with AI while it is running.
