“We currently anticipate the game remaining in Early Access for approximately 6–12 months. However, this timeline may change depending on development progress, player feedback, and the scope of improvements we decide to make.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“For the full release, we plan to expand and polish the overall experience with additional content, improved gameplay mechanics, quality-of-life features, performance optimizations, and further balancing. We also intend to incorporate community feedback throughout Early Access to help shape the final version of the game.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version is fully playable. Players can engage with the main mechanics and explore the content currently available. While the foundation of the game is in place, some features and content are still being developed, and players may encounter occasional bugs, balancing issues, or areas that need further polish. We plan to continue improving the experience through updates and community feedback.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

About This Game

Island Tycoon is a chill tropical tycoon sim. It’s just you, the open ocean, a chain of private islands, and a tourism empire waiting to be built.

Build roads, airports, ports and beach resorts from the ground up, then manage it all from above. Or drop down and take the controls yourself. Every vehicle and every character is yours to command: pilot seaplanes and helicopters on sightseeing tours, captain ocean freighters loaded with cargo, run ferries between islands, or leap out at 30,000 feet and skydive into paradise.

Prefer to take it slow? Cruise past whales in crystal-clear water, watch a storm roll across the sea, or just kick back on the beach and enjoy the view. Island Tycoon has a little bit of everything, so play it your way.

Why stop at one tycoon when you can have four? Start your own lobby and build together with up to 4 players online. Split up the jobs, race each other’s ferries, or wreak a little beautiful mayhem, all in the same island paradise. Rather go solo? The whole archipelago is yours.
