STATIC is a fast arcade game about chain lightning.

GENERATED IN CODE

Everything you see and hear is generated in code. The board changes colour and layout as the Threat Level rises.

CHAIN LIGHTNING

Your field damages every enemy inside it, and hits arc onward as chain lightning. Gather enemies into tight groups, then click to fire a discharge.

CARDS AND UPGRADES

Pick one of three cards during a run to change how chains, detonations, the field and shields work. Between runs, spend what you collected on 86 permanent upgrades and 6 discharge patterns.

25 Threat Levels. New board mechanics arrive at TL6 (conductive walls), TL11 (a relay circuit) and TL16 (a crosslinked grid), with new enemy types along the way and mini-bosses from TL21. Endless mode follows the last Threat Level.

The free demo covers Threat Levels 1–7. Demo progress carries over to the full game.

STATIC collects no data. It has no telemetry, no analytics and no accounts, and the game itself never sends anything over the internet.

Contains flashing lights and screen shake. Flash intensity and screen shake can be turned down in Settings.
