“If you are not interested in engaging in the development process, we encourage you to wait for the full release summer of 2017. The game is limited in content and polish and will have bugs and crashes right now.

We have a massive vision for what we are building: a MMORPG that you can play for years, as you explore a beautiful world aligned around learning many subject areas in a positive environment. A successful educational MMORPG on this scale hasn't been done yet, and we didn't want to hide in a closet and build without getting active feedback from an early community that can make sure we're creating an amazing game... and we don't have the millions we'd need to do that, anyway! Getting early supporters this way helps us build the game in the right direction, and also shows investors that we are on the right track to help raise more funds to help with development.”

“We plan on leaving early access in summer or fall of 2017, with three completed modules of content, emergent and sandbox features, and a much more polished user experience. This may be extended if gameplay feedback shows there is more needed before leaving early access.”

“We have much, much more content we plan on adding! In the Game Description below, we added a list of planned future features that you can refer to. These include more modules of content (heredity currently planned as next-up), abilities to paint your own clothing and furniture, selling among other players and learning about entrepreneurship, and much more. Our early access users will be voting and giving their input on what we should build next, so we make sure to make what you want the most.”

抢先体验版本的现状如何？

“We currently have 3+ hours of gameplay with over 30 quests, largely around Ecology content right now. You can make a customizable character and we have a customizable apartment with 4 sets of furniture to choose from and other accessories and decor. There's certainly a lot of usability that we can improve with the quests, map, and other interface, and much of the user interface is not very polished yet. There will be bugs and other issues, and progress may be lost occasionally, although we will try to avoid this.

If you’re not interested in an unfinished game, we understand and encourage you to check back when we launch Tyto Online in fall of 2017.”

“Yes, after early access we plan on going to a subscription model. The current early access purchase is pre-purchasing the first three months of game time after the full launch, and then all the early access time from now until then will be covered for free under this purchase.”

You’ll also be able to help us vote on what we should build next! Sometimes this will be the features we should start working on, or the next hairstyles we should develop, and much more. We’re creating a board where you’ll be able to see the features in our queue and give your input so we know what to prioritize and what’s important about it before we even start building it.
