Cursed To Move is a single-player chess roguelite built around short tactical encounters, risky route choices, and piece upgrades that bend the rules. Familiar pieces gain powers they were never meant to possess, while the board becomes more unforgiving with every turn.

Launch pieces across the board, attack from impossible angles, manipulate promotions, and combine abilities that could never exist in a normal chess match. A single pawn, bishop, or knight can become the centerpiece of your entire strategy.

Purchase upgrades, manage your gold, and adapt to the choices you are offered. Abilities interact with one another, turning a simple move into a devastating chain reaction.

Travel across a branching map filled with battles, puzzles, shops, camps, fate encounters, elite enemies, and bosses. Every route forces you to choose between immediate safety and long-term power.

Survive the Collapsing Board

The battlefield will not remain safe forever. Board Collapse pushes every encounter toward the center, turning space and tempo into precious resources you cannot afford to waste.

Choose Who Will Face the Curse

Eight playable characters reshape each run with unique advantages and restrictions. Pay less in shops, delay the board’s collapse, gamble for greater rewards, or abandon royal upgrades to gain access to a different arsenal.
