About This Demo

You are the keeper of the last lighthouse. Every night, shadows climb out of the sea and head for the tower. You have exactly one weapon: a really, really big flashlight. Point it at them and watch them melt.

This is the free demo. You get the first 15 nights, the New Moon Lord included. Setting sail for Starlight, the Dock and the deepest upgrades are waiting in the full game. Spoiler: there is a lot more.

• Burn swarms, walkers, fog clouds and the sneaky ones that dig underground.

• Lift the beam to the sky for the flying ones. Shake the ground to pop the hiding ones out.

• Things getting out of hand? Unlock the storm and lightning starts dropping on shadows by itself. Very rude. Very effective.

• Meet the New Moon Lord. He rings a bell. You should be worried about the bell.

• Spend your Lumen on upgrade trees for the Lighthouse, the Clock Tower, the Hut and a treasure chest that is definitely not trying to eat you.

• Peek at the Tree of Darkness to see what wakes up tomorrow night. Spoilers, but useful ones.

• Adopt companions: Bits (a small monster with a fishing lure on his head), a loyal dog with a lantern and an owl that sees everything.

• Short, punchy nights and a chill day phase

• Lots of upgrades across a bunch of skill trees
