About This Game

Vanguard Armada is a sci-fi turn-based fleet tactics game.

Build and customize a fleet of frigates, carriers and battleships, then command it through tactical space battles. Fight solo with AI allies or join up to three other players in co-op, each commanding their own fleet. Earn persistent unlocks, experiment with new loadouts, and find fellow commanders in the multiplayer lobby.

Build a fleet around your tactics

Choose ships with different strengths and combine their weapons, equipment and abilities into a fleet that works together. Bring long-range firepower, launch fighter and bomber wings, or invest in escorts and defensive systems to protect your ships.

Your choices in the shipyard shape your options in combat. Build around a particular weapon or ship ability, assemble a flexible force, or specialize your fleet to complement your allies. Return between missions to refine your designs and try different combinations.

Command turn-based space battles

Choose your engagement range, prioritize targets and decide when to commit your weapons and abilities. Concentrate fire on a dangerous enemy, intercept incoming attacks, or support an ally while they prepare their next strike.

Mission objectives give your fleet a purpose beyond destroying the opposition. Protect vulnerable ships, hold against enemy pressure and judge when pursuing a target would leave the objective exposed. Build a plan around the ships you brought, then adapt as the battle develops.

Fight solo or with other commanders

Play solo alongside AI-controlled allied fleets, bring friends, or use the multiplayer lobby to find other players.

In co-op, each player commands their own fleet within the same battle. Coordinate your loadouts before deployment and your actions once combat begins. Combine offensive and defensive capabilities, support a commander under pressure, and work together toward the mission’s objectives.

Expand your options between missions

Victories earn Favors that you can spend on additional ships, equipment and cosmetic ship skins. Progress also increases your fleet allowance, giving you more room to experiment with different combinations.

Your unlocks are persistent. Keep building your collection as you move between missions, play alone or join a group, and return to the shipyard with new possibilities to explore.
