• Find missions without hunting for files. Scan your DCS installation and browse missions organized by module, category and campaign. Get started without learning the folder structure.
  
• Translate whole campaigns in batches. Add a campaign and its missions to the queue, choose a target language and translate them together. You can also drag in .miz or .cmp files.

Clearer translations. Safer file handling.

• Translation rules built for DCS. Prompts designed for mission and campaign text use context and terminology rules to help preserve meaning and improve the accuracy of briefings and mission text.
  
• Lua syntax and structure checks. The translation workflow includes Lua syntax checks and file structure validation to reduce the risk of formatting or script errors affecting mission loading.
  
• Review alongside the original. Refine terminology and wording in one view. Saving review edits does not require another translation request.
  
• Save in place, with a backup. Write translated files back to their original locations while keeping backups, without moving files manually. You can also save separate copies.

Keep translations manageable after DCS updates

On startup, DCSmiz checks your saved DCS directory and target language. When an update or repair overwrites translated missions, it alerts you to recoverable files. Restore eligible saved translations directly from local storage without translating again. Missions with changed source content are identified separately so you can process them again.

Multiple API protocols let you choose a provider and model to suit your preferences for quality, speed and cost. Compatible local models are also supported. Translation, review and recovery records are stored locally for ongoing management.

Usage notes

DCSmiz localizes mission and campaign text, not recorded speech or text in images. The software price does not include DCS World, mission packs or third-party translation service fees. Online services require your own API key. Results depend on the selected model; use side-by-side review and check translated missions in DCS.

DCSmiz uses a user-configured AI provider or compatible local model to translate text from selected DCS World mission and campaign files. Users can review and edit translations before saving. AI API usage is not included in the software purchase. AI assistance was also used for interface localization, prompts and store copy. Some store and library promotional artwork depicting pilots and aircraft was AI-generated for marketing and is not DCS gameplay footage.
