Why Early Access?

“We want to use Early Access to develop Averun alongside its community. The initial release will include Chapter 1 as a complete playable experience of approximately 10 hours, and player feedback will help us improve balance, combat, interface, performance, and other aspects of the experience as we continue expanding the game with new content.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We expect Averun to remain in Early Access for at least 12 months. The exact duration will depend on the development of future chapters, the improvements we make along the way, and community feedback. We prefer not to set a final date for version 1.0 until we can deliver the complete experience at the level of quality we are aiming for.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version will begin with Chapter 1, offering approximately 10 hours of gameplay as a complete and fully playable experience on its own.
During Early Access, we plan to expand Averun with new chapters, areas, quests, enemies, items, and additional content, while continuing to improve balance, interface, performance, and overall game quality.
For the full version, our intention is to offer a considerably larger experience, with additional story chapters and a broader overall scope. Some systems, content, and features may evolve during Early Access based on development progress and community feedback.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Averun is currently in active development. We are working on the content, systems, balance, interface, performance, and overall polish of Chapter 1, which will form the foundation of the initial Early Access release.
Our goal for the Early Access launch is to offer approximately 10 hours of playable content covering Chapter 1, including exploration, combat, quests, dialogue, character progression, equipment, and a variety of outdoor and interior areas.
We will continue making adjustments and improvements throughout development, so some systems, content, and balance elements may change before and during Early Access.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan to offer Averun at a lower price during the early stages of Early Access and gradually increase the price as new chapters, content, and improvements are added. Our intention is for the price to reflect the scope and amount of content available at each stage of development.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We plan to use the Steam forums and community tools as our main way of communicating with players. We will pay particular attention to feedback regarding bugs, performance, balance, combat, interface, and the overall gameplay experience.
We will also take community feedback and suggestions into account as development continues, especially to identify issues and areas that could be improved. Relevant updates and changes will be communicated through Steam.”
