About This Game

The Mohist is a single-player strategy tower-defense game inspired by the defense of ancient Chinese fortifications. Enemies do not simply follow a fixed lane: they raise ladders, ram gates, fill ditches, undermine walls, manipulate water, and redirect their assault when your defense changes.

Every battle begins with preparation. Shape the route with walls, ditches, gates, towers, ballistae, catapults, and Mohist mechanisms, then position shield troops, spearmen, archers, and engineers. Once combat begins, fortifications break, fire and water reshape the field, and enemy formations search for new openings.

The developers describe how their game uses AI Generated Content like this:

Pre-generated AI-assisted content is used in the game and its store materials. The main 2D artwork and store key art were generated with OpenAI ImageGen, then selected, edited, cropped, keyed, resized, laid out, assembled, and integrated by the developer. Battlefield sound effects and eight music tracks were generated by the developer with ElevenLabs and edited for use in the game. Generative AI also assisted with translation and editing of some localization and store copy. No generative AI runs during gameplay, and no player input is sent to an external AI service.
