About This Game

You are **Echo-1** — a recovered fragment of a lost intelligence, reactivated inside a simulation that is running out of time. Slingbox is a minimalist, physics-driven platformer built on one idea: **momentum is everything**. Dash, tether, and launch your way through the Protocol's abstract calibration layers, and don't stop moving until the clock does.

There are no enemies here. No hazards, no combat, no one to talk to. The only thing between you and the exit is the route you choose and how cleanly you can run it. Every layer teaches a single idea without a word — float, dash, tether, redirect, launch — then asks you to combine all of them under pressure.
Two layers. Two rulesets.
**BOOT** (Layer 00) is clean zero gravity: no floor, no falling, nothing but conserved momentum and your own control. **CASCADE** (Layer 01) is where the simulation starts to fail. Gravity arrives. The palette decays from cold cyan to warm red. And the tether stops obeying its own rules — latching to an anchor now recharges your dash, a fault the Protocol insists is *"not correct."*
Precision, not punishment.
Every level is 30–120 seconds of play, read one framed screen at a time. There are no fall deaths and no cheap shots: leave the play area and you simply resync at the start of the attempt — timer reset, instantly ready to run the line again. Failure costs you nothing but the clock.
Chase the clock.
Every level carries four medals — Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Ghost. Bronze is finishing. Ghost is beating the developer's own best time. Best time and medal are saved per level, so the long game becomes the same run, again and again, getting closer to perfect.
Features

Tight, momentum-driven movement: an 8-directional fixed-distance dash and a springy rope that conserves velocity

Twenty calibration levels across two worlds — clean zero gravity, then gravity and corruption

One idea per level, taught without text, then combined under pressure

Per-level Bronze / Silver / Gold / Ghost medals and saved personal bests

Instant restart and a zero-punishment reboot — learn the route at speed

A diegetic signal aesthetic: cold vector displays, phosphor bloom, and a simulation that visibly glitches as it decays

Full keyboard and gamepad support, with screen-absolute movement that never fights your inputs

100% procedural, royalty-free sound

The signal is the story.
There is no narrator and no dialogue — only the Protocol, a dying system that reports on its own failure through terminal logs and tearing frames. You are the anomaly inside it. Its integrity falls from 100% to 30% as you descend, and it remembers every surface you touch.

Slingbox asks one question and refuses to answer it: **why was Echo-1 made?**

Fast to start. Hard to perfect. Beat the clock.
