„The core of the game — choose your prey with rumors, line up your minions, then fight as the demon lord yourself — is playable from start to finish. From here, balance, new minions and intruders, and new ways to play are things we want to decide while listening to people who actually play. This is a small project, and getting it into players' hands early is the fastest way to make it better.“

Be the reason heroes don't come home.

You are a washed-up demon lord with one ambition: to become the strongest of them all. You've moved into a cave beside a quiet village.
The plan is simple. Whoever walks in never walks out.

Spread rumors. Choose your prey.

Whisper that a legendary sword sleeps in your cave, and a hero's party shows up. Say there's a legendary protein powder, and the local musclemen come running.
Every rumor shows who will come, how strong they are, and what they carry. Stronger visitors mean bigger spoils. The next raid is your call.

Four rooms. Fill them well.

Place minions within each room's budget — 33 kinds, from slimes to dragons.
An Evil Eye whose beam bounces off the walls. A Magic Mirror that sends spells back at the caster. A King Slime that splits into three when it falls.
Upgrades apply to one tribe at a time, so what you invest in shapes your army.

Real time, with room to think.

Your minions pick their own fights. Spend mana to summon reinforcements on the spot. There are 8 spells and 6 kinds of traps.
Time slows down automatically while you are choosing a card.

The last room is yours.

Anyone who breaks through reaches the throne room — and you.
Move with WASD, attack with a click, dodge with Space. Wear them down on the way and it's a formality. Let them stroll through and it's a fight for your life.

Human blood is money.

Fallen intruders leave blood behind. Between raids, visitors come to your cave: a blood merchant, a dark blacksmith, a fortune-telling devil and more.
9 events and 11 relics.

Modes

  • PLAY — 7 raids. Win, and the next Alert Level opens: 10 steps, each one adding another handicap.
  • 100 Mode — 100 raids. Every tenth is led by a champion, and every champion you beat joins the raids that follow.
  • Daily Challenge — one attempt a day, the same run for everyone, with a Steam leaderboard.

Streamer Mode

Connect your stream's chat and let viewers vote by typing a number: which rumor to spread, which reward to take, what to do at an event.
Twitch is supported. YouTube Live support is experimental.
