What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“I’m releasing Austin: Lost in a Maze in Early Access so players can join the game’s development and help shape its future. Their feedback will guide improvements to the maze, puzzles, atmosphere, and gameplay as I add new content and polish the experience. I want to build the best game I can, and hearing from players along the way is an important part of that process.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We expect Austin Lost in a Maze to remain in Early Access for approximately two weeks. This estimate may change as development progresses.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version of Austin: Lost in a Maze is planned to offer a more complete and polished experience than the Early Access version. We plan to expand the maze with additional areas, puzzles, secrets, and story details, while improving the game’s atmosphere, controls, and overall performance based on player feedback.
During Early Access, we’ll use community feedback to help prioritize improvements and guide development. The final scope may change as development progresses, and planned additions are not guaranteed.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Austin Lost in a Maze is currently in Early Access. The Early Access version includes the game’s core maze exploration and navigation experience. Content and features may change as development continues, and updates may add improvements or new content. Please refer to the “About This” section for the full list of currently implemented features and content.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“No. Austin Lost in a Maze will remain free during Early Access and after its full release.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We plan to involve the community by listening to player feedback throughout Early Access. Suggestions, bug reports, and discussions will help us identify what’s working, what needs improvement, and which additions players would most like to see. We’ll share development updates and use community input to help guide changes to the maze, puzzles, story, and overall gameplay. While feedback will influence development, not every suggestion can be included.”

About This Game

Austin: Lost in a Maze

Austin wakes up trapped in a maze that seems to shift every time he turns around. With no map, no clear way out, and strange sounds echoing through the corridors, he must explore carefully, solve puzzles, and uncover the truth behind the place he’s been trapped in.

Navigate winding passages, search for clues, and keep your bearings as the maze twists into something far more unsettling than it first appears. Every discovery brings Austin closer to an exit—and deeper into the mystery of why he’s there.
