A zombie-survival game that lives on top of your desktop. By day a gas-masked rat scavenges, crafts and builds a tree house; by night it holds the ladder against the horde. The tiny island floats over your windows while you work — and never gets in the way.

About This Game

A SURVIVAL GAME THAT SITS ON YOUR DESKTOP

Survivor Rat vs Zombies is a tiny wasteland island that floats on top of your windows. No fullscreen, no alt-tabbing: the window is transparent, and every click outside the island goes straight through to whatever you are working on. Drag it to any corner, scale it from 50% to 200%, keep it always on top or let it hide — it idles quietly until the next wave.

BY DAY: SCAVENGE, COOK, CRAFT

Your rat has no health bar — only hunger, thirst and radiation, and any one of them can end the run. Break down plank piles, rubble and scrap heaps, pick mushrooms, hunt the crow, boil dirty barrel water and stay away from the glowing sludge. Then open the workbench: better tools mean more resources per trip, better weapons mean more zombies per shot.

BUILD A TREE HOUSE

The ground is not safe at night. Lay a wooden platform in the dead tree, tile by tile, and fill it with machines: a furnace for steel, a workshop for advanced recipes, a rain collector, a mushroom garden, a still for fuel, an ammo press, turrets, a floodlight and a shock coil. Space is tight, so every tile is a decision.

BY NIGHT: HOLD THE LADDER

The old TV flickers red, fog rolls over the island — and they come. Zombies crowd the trunk and climb the ladder one after another. Knock them off with your bare paws, then with a slingshot, a crossbow, a shotgun, an assault rifle, a flamethrower, a rocket launcher or a tesla gun. Throw grenades and Molotovs, set bear traps and mines, drive spikes into the trunk. Every wave is bigger and tougher than the last.

ONE GOAL: CALL FOR EVACUATION

Radio parts drop only from zombies, and you need a lot of them. Build the radio, send the signal — and survive the final stand while the whole wasteland comes for you.
