About This Game

Threat Axis is a real-time modern warfare simulator where you command carrier strike groups, submarines, air wings, Marines and armor across sea, air and shore. You don't steer a single ship. You run the whole operation from the plot table: find the enemy, decide what to shoot with, and keep your force alive long enough to win.

Every unit, weapon, military, scenario and campaign is easy to modify or change. Add new ships, patch existing ones, or write whole operations and campaigns of your own, then switch mods on and off from the in-game MODS screen.

Game Features

Threat Axis puts you in command of a modern task force. Five nations, over 100 units and nearly 90 weapon systems, from Tomahawks and Harpoons to S-400 batteries and Kilo-class submarines.

Command the Fleet

Lead carrier strike groups against cruisers, coastal missile batteries and layered air defenses. Launch fighters and AWACS, trade anti-ship salvos, and keep enough interceptors in reserve to defend your fleet.

Hunt What Hides Below

Radar, ESM, passive and active sonar, and emission control all matter. Hunt Kilo-class submarines with P-8 Poseidons, destroyers and your own attack boats before they reach torpedo range of the convoy.

Storm the Beach

Storm the shore with landing craft. Seize airfields, ports and air-defense hubs with your amphibious assault groups.

Fight Inland

Tanks, infantry fighting vehicles, howitzers and rocket artillery fight for ground that matters. Move in formation, call fire missions on suspected positions, and hold objectives long enough to take them.

Choose Every Shot

Pick the weapon for every engagement, or let your crews decide. Set salvo size, anti-air reserves and when each unit withdraws. Issue commands using deep control systems including waypoint patrol loops, save groups, attack-move logic, and time compression.

Wage a Campaign

Fight in a chain of operations with one persistent force in our dynamic persistent campaign. Manage your reinforcements, choose which units deploy to each operation, and watch your crews gain veterancy from every battle.
