A free taste of HOSHIKUI

This is the free demo of HOSHIKUI, an action roguelite with no attack button. Heat is your HP, your fuel, and your time limit. You are a dying star drifting through an infinite, procedurally generated galaxy, getting colder every second.

Collision is everything

  • Ram other stars to attack, heal, and propel yourself
  • Steal heat and gain mass to survive the heat death of the universe
  • Chase a high score across a galaxy that is different every run

No art files. No audio files.

Every visual and every sound in HOSHIKUI is generated in code.
