Why Early Access?

“Dub With Friends is a social game at its core, and we believe the best way to improve it is by getting it into the hands of real groups of players.

Early Access allows us to gather feedback on the multiplayer experience, dubbing workflow, Steam Workshop integration, and overall game experience while we continue polishing and expanding the game. Player feedback and bug reports will help us identify issues and decide which areas of the game need the most attention.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We currently expect Dub With Friends to remain in Early Access for approximately 6–12 months. This may change depending on player feedback and the development process.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to continue improving the overall multiplayer and dubbing experience, polish the user interface, improve performance and stability, and expand the game's customization options.

We also plan to improve the tools and features surrounding community-created clips and Steam Workshop integration based on how players use them during Early Access.

The exact direction of development may change based on community feedback.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version includes the core Dub With Friends experience. Players can play online with friends, dub video clips using their microphones, watch the resulting dubs together, and use community-created clips through Steam Workshop.

The game is playable, but players may encounter bugs, rough edges, balancing issues, or features that are still being improved.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Dub With Friends is planned to remain free to play during and after Early Access. Optional paid DLC may be available separately.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Community feedback will play an important role in the development of Dub With Friends. We plan to collect feedback and bug reports from players and use them to identify problems, improve existing features, and help prioritize future development.

Steam Discussions and other community channels will be used to communicate with players and gather feedback throughout Early Access.”
