About This Game

Tactics to the devil dungeon is a turn-based tactical RPG built around terrain, status effects, and a party shaped by your choices of classes, skills, and equipment.

100 battle stages

Beyond the towns, the campaign contains 102 stages: 100 battle stages and two story scenes. Reconsider your formation and approach as you move from one battlefield to the next.

Battlefields that burn and freeze

Read the elevation and movement costs to choose your approach. Ignite forests and wood, extinguish fires with water, or freeze wet ground to block a route and thaw it with fire to reopen it. Changes to the terrain reshape your choices of movement and attack.

Status effects change your next move

Follow water with ice or lightning against a wet enemy to seek extra damage and control through freezing or paralysis. Burns deal damage over time, while shock weakens accuracy and attacks. Choose whether to deny an enemy's actions or strengthen a follow-up strike—and plan your attack order around it.

61 classes and paths you can revisit

A connected class system includes the Adventurer and 60 other classes across 10 base-class families. Meet the level and progression requirements to advance, or return to a class you have experienced and explore another branch. Staying with your first base class can also build on its particular strengths. Recruit companions and give each a role in your party.

The town recruitment board shows a companion's portrait, story and recruitment controls.

Build your skills across eight trees

Spend the SP earned through leveling to choose active and passive skills. Each skill has level and prerequisite requirements, and skills purchased with SP remain learned after a class change. Mixing skills from other class families brings trade-offs in effectiveness and MP cost.

Equipment that defines a role

Combine swords, bows, daggers, maces, staves, spellbooks, and gear for the head, body, and off hand. Reinforce your front line with a shield or support a magic-focused role with a staff and spellbook. Compare stat changes and proficiency effects, then pack healing and mana items before the next battle.

The character equipment screen compares gear and shows the resulting stat changes.
