About This Game

The Dominion came out of the south with factories on rails. One armoured brigade still fights.

Three years ago the south broke away from the army and became the Dominion. Now its furnaces burn the valley's coal, and its tanks hold every road. You command the Tempered Hull Brigade: the last armoured company in the field, a garage that turns scrap into steel, and a crew that will not quit.

Fight through forest forts, a snowbound ironworks, red desert canyons, a beach landing and a drowned delta. Then storm the Bastion and face High Marshal Draeg in his own tank, the Anvil.

SIX TANKS, EACH ONE YOURS

• Lancer, the balanced line tank. Harrier, fast recon. Bulwark, assault armour. Vanguard, the strike hunter.

• Hornet: twin flak that tears gunships out of the sky. Mammoth: twice the hull and two heavy guns side by side.

• Scrap from every wreck buys permanent upgrades: turret, engine, armour, hull, utility kit and paint. Every tank keeps its own.

• Six weapons to fit, from the cannon to rockets, and a dash on every hull.

TWELVE COMMANDERS, ONE BUTTON

Every commander rides into battle with you and brings one skill on R.

• Grid locks three targets and drops his mortars on them. Ghost hides you in a wall of smoke. Bulldog fires four guns at once. Patch patches your hull, and at level 3 the whole team.

• Ember sets the ground on fire. Raven jams enemy targeting. Reaper executes the wounded. Havoc stores every hit and releases a 360-degree shockwave.

• Goliath plants a shield wall. Venom gasses enemies out of cover. Bandolier calls in supply drops. Skylark launches kamikaze drones.

• Every one is fully voiced, with lines for kills, close calls and boss fights. Level up their skills, unlock new commanders through the campaign and your medals, and switch commanders at deploy or in the middle of a mission.

THE DOMINION HAS FACES

Draeg's five lieutenants were once our own. Each one waits at the end of a sector in a signature tank, with a trick you have to beat.

• Ironwall under his crimson Iron Dome. Rivet keeping his escorts alive with a crane. Hailstorm raising her Flak Curtain beside the Rail-Gun Train. Hex calling down her Static Storm. Wraith hunting in the Dead Water fog.

• Every fight opens with a voiced face-off, and the commander who once served beside them answers over the radio.

• Then comes High Marshal Draeg himself, in the Anvil: a four-phase finale that turns his lieutenants' tricks against you.

• Beaten a boss? Rematch it any time and chase your best time.

CALL IN THE BIG GUNS

Mark targets for mortar strikes and airstrikes, or bring a helicopter gunship to your side. Derail armoured trains, sink river gunboats, bring down zeppelins and break the forts that hold the roads.

A WAR WITH A STORY

Before the war there was one army. Then a winter order left a foundry town to freeze, and Viktor Draeg led the south away: the Sundering. Live through what came after across six sectors. There are voiced briefings and radio, a villain who taunts you every step of the way, villages to hold and trains to derail, and an ending that reflects how much of the valley you freed.

WAVE ARENA

Between campaigns, hold the arena against wave after wave. Every lieutenant you beat in the campaign can lead your run, with their own ability now on your side. Harder run tiers and challenges open up as you win.

BETTER WITH A CREW

• Online co-op for up to four players, with Steam friend invites.

• Each crew picks its own tank and commander, and the Wave Arena plays in co-op too.
