About This Game

Godmantle is a single-player card battler inspired by mythology. Choose your deities and arcana, take your place at the table, and find your own way to fight.

Six deities. Three suits.

Choose three of six deities, one for each suit. Each brings different effects and arcana cards, opening up new ways to build around the same Number Cards.

Turn hands into power

Played Number Cards combine with public Number Cards to form hands. Read the table, decide when to draw or play, and use arcana to change the situation. The game selects the formed hand automatically; you decide how to set it up.

Refine your build between battles

After defeating a boss, use the shop to develop your build for the current run before facing the next opponent. Each boss has distinct abilities. Experiment with deities and cards to find combinations that work for you.

Open packs. Grow your collection.

Defeat bosses to earn card packs. Choose one of three pack options and open it to receive five cards. Collect duplicates to level up your cards, unlock enhanced artwork at +5 and awakened artwork at +10, and discover new illustrations and layered visual effects. Your collection and card upgrades carry over between runs.

About the current playtest

The current Steam Playtest version includes deck setup, boss battles, shop progression, pack opening, card collecting and upgrades. Content, balance and presentation will continue to change.
