About This Demo

A free demo: five bosses, three heroes, eight item families, FORCE up to 6 and the Daily March, with unlimited runs. The full game has 30 bosses, 7 heroes, 16 item families and 12 FORCE levels.

The final boss is on the map from your first step. You can watch him walk the Road toward the Lighthouse, and every step you take brings him closer. You have four days to get ready. Then you fight him with whatever you built.

Every step costs time

The map is your clock. He moves one tile for every four steps you take. Fight what lives in the fog, open chests, shop in the villages, light beacons to slow him down. You can't do it all, so every detour is a choice. And at each dawn, the foes on the map grow stronger.

A kit that fights on its own

Battles play themselves. Your part is the kit: items fire left to right in the order you set them, setting off chains of Burn, Venom, Armor and extra strikes. Rank them up, and at every level swear an Oath that bends the rules your way.

Every village counts

Ring a village's bell before he arrives and it pays you back: Militia who fight beside you at the end, or gold and gear. Miss one and it drowns, and its people fight for him instead. The final fight is the sum of your whole run.

Every boss changes the map

One leaves the Road burning behind him. One sends hounds to hunt you down. One washes the chests away as she passes. Each fights differently too, so the kit that beat the last one may not beat the next.

A different run every time

Pick a hero, then pick three of the five item families you're dealt: fire, venom, items that grow with every win, gold that turns into damage, ink that turns foes against their own side. Win, then raise the storm: each FORCE level adds one rule you can see.
