Dusky's Nook is a cozy idle desktop game about a little mushroom guy living his life on a floating island.

Level up to unlock new looks for Dusky and his island, light phases, the palette, the music, a few extra animations, and maybe even some new companions..

Co-working companion
Put the island anywhere on your screen and resize it to fit. No timers, no notifications. A little to do if you want it, nothing asked of you if you don't. Dusky enjoys the company in any setting you want him!

The demo carries you to level 10, with skins, songs, and a night sky to unlock along the way. The friends arrive at full launch — wishlist Dusky's Nook to be there when they do.

Dusky's Nook is designed, directed, and built by one developer. All game design, writing, scene construction, lighting, and the menu artwork are my own. Generative AI tools were used during development as part of the asset pipeline — producing base 3D models and some store images, which were then curated, refined, and integrated by hand. The game does not generate any content while you play and never connects to external AI services.
