An old friend's letter brings you to a sunny island. Waiting on the pier are Demetrius and his collector, Luis. Stripped to a waist wrap, you are left on a ruined farm. No Easy Farming is a single-player pixel-art simulation about farming, survival and building a business.

01 Hard farming

Start without tools: pull weeds, dig the soil and carry pond water in your cupped hands. Grow 12 types of crops. Weeds and pests reduce quality, while disease can wipe out every plant of an affected crop. Your produce is for sale, not for eating. Keep enough money to buy food.

02 Debt that grows every week

Every Saturday brings a $1,000 island fee, plus 10% interest on any outstanding debt. The part of the bill you cannot pay becomes more debt. Seeds, tools, food or the next payment: decide where your limited cash will do the most good.

03 A crew you can count on

Help a castaway or buy enslaved workers from the trader in town. Let them choose farm chores such as watering and harvesting, direct them to load a cart or truck, or tell them to rest. Keep the crew fed: hunger stops work and can lead to starvation or attacks. Once you have a bridge, an alarm keeps workers from escaping across it at night.
