Pourquoi choisir l'accès anticipé ?

« Act I of the campaign is complete and playable from start to finish, and we want players at the table now. A game where you type anything your character does is only truly tested by real players: every table is different, and we want to learn from how you play to refine the rules engine, the AI Game Master's narration and the pacing, while we continue the campaign. »

Pendant combien de temps environ ce jeu sera-t-il en accès anticipé ?

« We expect Early Access to last about 12 months. The game will leave Early Access when the campaign and the features listed below feel complete, and we will keep players informed along the way.  »

En quoi la version finale sera-t-elle différente de la version en accès anticipé ?

« We plan to continue the campaign beyond Act I with new acts, written by the developer. We also plan to broaden the SRD 5.1 content (more spells, creatures and items), add a tutorial for players new to tabletop RPGs, add difficulty options and an in-game bug report, keep improving the speed and consistency of the AI Game Master, and evaluate support for other platforms. »

Quel est l'état actuel de la version en accès anticipé ?

« Act I is complete: a dark fantasy campaign of about 10 to 20 hours, depending on how much you explore and whether you play with the narrator's voice. You create your character with SRD 5.1 rules, fight turn-based battles with weapons and spells, recruit companions, trade, travel across a world map with a day and night clock, rest and keep a journal. Everything is playable in English, Portuguese, Spanish and Simplified Chinese, with voice narration in all four. Windows only for now, and the AI Game Master requires an internet connection. »

Le prix du jeu sera-t-il différent pendant et après l'accès anticipé ?

« We don't plan to change the price of the game when it leaves Early Access. The purchase includes 450 AI Game Master turns, enough for all of Act I with room to spare. To keep playing after that, there are optional in-game top-ups bought through Steam: the Explorer's Pack (150 turns) and the Hero's Saga (450 turns). There is no subscription. If the cost of the AI service changes, top-up prices may be adjusted, always announced in advance. »

Comment comptez-vous impliquer la communauté dans le processus de développement ?

« Through the Steam Community hub: we read the discussions, post notes for every update and answer questions there. Players can report problems and inappropriate AI content through the Steam Overlay, and we plan to add an in-game bug report that sends the turn's text straight to us. Feedback from the first players will shape the pacing, the difficulty and the priorities of the next updates. Saves are always kept across updates. »

A tabletop RPG where you write what you do — and an AI Game Master narrates what happens.

You're not locked into a list of actions: tell the game, in your own words, what your character does. A rules engine built on the SRD 5.1 resolves attacks, checks, spells and real dice rolls, and the AI Game Master narrates the outcome — in text and voice. The rules decide; the story answers.

The Throne of Beasts

Your father swore loyalty to a dead king. Now a usurper marches across the realm at the head of an army of men, goblinoids, ogres and other beasts bent to his will. When that force reaches your family's lands, your father chooses to stay behind and buy a few minutes with his own life. You flee beside your childhood friend while your village burns. Homeless, unprotected and unable to face what destroyed everything you knew, you begin by simply trying to survive. But the advance that destroyed your home is only getting started.

How it plays

• Write anything. Talk, bargain, threaten, investigate, fight — or pick one of the Game Master's suggestions when you want to move faster.

• A Game Master who truly narrates. Every turn is narrated to you, with voice, reacting to what you did and to what happened in the world.

• The AI doesn't roll your dice. The rules engine decides hits, damage, checks and consequences before the AI writes a single word. The narration tells what happened — it never invents an outcome.

• An authored campaign, not a generated one. Act I has 30 scenes and 10 to 20 hours of story, depending on how much you talk and explore.

• Companions. Allies who travel with you, fight at your side and have something to say about the road.

• Turn-based combat, dice in plain sight. Every roll shows on screen: initiative, attacks, saving throws, surprise.

• Decisions that weigh. Accept or refuse, fight or surrender, spare or force the truth out — the characters answer to what you decide.

• Create your character with races and classes from the SRD 5.1.

• Four languages: English, Brazilian Portuguese, Latin American Spanish and Simplified Chinese — text and voice.

About the AI Game Master

The AI Game Master runs on our servers and requires an internet connection.

The game includes 450 AI Game Master turns, enough for all of Act I with room to spare. After that, optional in-game top-ups through Steam: Explorer's Pack (150 turns) and Hero's Saga (450 turns). No subscription.

Crônicas Improváveis uses generative AI in two ways.

Made with AI during development: the artwork (portraits, scene illustrations, interface and icons), the intro video, the music and sound effects, the campaign text and the translations were created with the help of AI tools. The story, scenes and characters were directed, reviewed and edited by the developer.

Generated live while you play: an AI Game Master writes the narration of each turn and the suggested actions, and an AI voice reads the narration aloud. Every outcome (rolls, damage, success or failure) is decided first by a rules engine built on the SRD 5.1; the AI only narrates what the engine decided, inside the authored campaign and within fixed content limits. It never generates sexual content.

Crônicas Improváveis is a dark fantasy tabletop RPG. Turn-based combat with weapons and magic is frequent: characters are wounded and die, and the story deals with war, massacres and burned villages. Violence is told in text and narrated voice over static illustrations. In one optional moment the player may choose to torture a captured enemy for information; it is described in text and never shown. Some dialogue contains strong language. The narration is generated live by AI within fixed content limits: it never produces sexual content, and the game has no nudity.
