About This Game

Arkseed Terraformery is a 2D factory and colony builder on a dead planet. You are the Arkseed: you land with humanity's genetic archive, and the tools to rebuild it. Every pixel of the world is real matter, so what you dig falls, what you melt flows, and what you ignite burns.

Every pixel of the planet is a material with its own weight and temperature. Dug rock collapses into piles, gases settle in layers, and water always finds its level.

Start from nothing but your Arkseed. build a Furnace from rock and coal, stoke it hot enough to refine metal ore, and build a Stirling engine against its heat for your very first watts. Unlock the machines that will change this new world.

Feed a mixed stream of ore onto your belts and let filter belts sort it, copper, tin and coal each dropping into its own bin. Chain launchers, hoppers, furnaces and spouts until a single smelter becomes a steel works that runs without you.

Need early oxygen? Electrolysis splits water into hydrogen and oxygen, and the gases mix in whatever room holds them. Heat spreads through every material, machines overheat, and a sealed room of hydrogen and oxygen is one spark away from disaster.Eventually you will be able to build sealed habitats with breathable air, grow the first settlers from the archive, and keep them fed, warm and alive. Then thicken the sky and warm the world until the airlocks can open for good.
