Gantry is an OpenXR VR video player for Linux. x64 / arm64. Steam Frame native and desktop Linux SteamVR.

Supports regular flat content, SBS and top/bottom 3D, 180/360° (mono or stereo), fisheye projections. Autodetection from filename as well as manual override.
Hardware accelerated decoding on the Frame using V4L2, H.264, HEVC, VP9. H.264 and HEVC up to 8K (8192x4096), VP9 up to 4K. Software decoding fallback. Audio and seeking supported. 10 bit video decoding supported (displays in 8 bit).
