What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Gold Fever: Wild West is already fully playable, but we want to continue developing it together with our community. Early Access will allow us to see how different players approach the game, identify issues, and gather feedback on the current mechanics.

Your feedback and ideas will help us decide what to improve and which new features to prioritize. We want the player experience to have a real impact on how the game evolves.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We expect Gold Fever: Wild West to remain in Early Access for approximately one to two years. This is only an estimate, as the exact duration will depend on the improvements we prioritize based on testing and player feedback.

Throughout development, we will share our progress and communicate any major changes to our plans. The updates we introduce are expected to significantly evolve the gameplay experience over time, always with the goal of improving the game and adding new mechanics and features.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version already allows players to establish a settlement, explore the map, build production chains, gather resources, and compete with bandits for control of gold deposits. While bandits do not currently launch deliberate attacks against the player, they are able to defend themselves when threatened.

We will continue improving game balance, the user interface, and the overall gameplay experience based on player feedback.

For the full release, we want to expand the strategic options available to players, add more content and greater map variety, and introduce new threats from the environment, including hostile wildlife such as wolves, bears, and other creatures. We also expect to incorporate improvements and new ideas that emerge”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current version is playable on one map and allows players to establish a settlement, gather wood and stone, construct production buildings, and manage miners and transporters. You can also explore gold deposits, extract their resources, and confront the bandits competing for control of them.

This is still a work-in-progress version. We are continuing to fix bugs, adjust game balance, and improve the clarity of the game’s mechanics through ongoing testing. During Early Access, we also want to incorporate player feedback and ideas suggested by the community.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes. We plan to offer Gold Fever: Wild West at a lower price during Early Access than at full release. This is our way of thanking those who choose to support the game at this stage by playing it, sharing feedback, reporting bugs, and suggesting improvements.

Your feedback will help us decide how to continue developing the game. If our pricing plans change, we will let the community know in advance.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We want to maintain an open dialogue with players throughout Early Access. We will follow Steam discussions and reviews to understand which mechanics are working well, which ones need improvement, and what issues players encounter during their playthroughs.

We also plan to create social media channels to share development updates and listen to ideas and feedback. Community input will be taken into account when deciding which improvements and new features to prioritize. We will not be able to implement every suggestion, but we want the experiences of our players to have a meaningful influence on the evolution of Gold Fever: Wild West.”

About This Game

About This Game

You arrive in an unexplored land with a wagon and a handful of miners. Gold is out there, but finding it is only the beginning. You'll need to establish a settlement, gather materials, and organize your workers to compete with bandits for the richest gold deposits.

Build Your Production Chain

Chop down trees, quarry stone, and construct buildings to process raw materials. Assign miners to different tasks and organize your transporters to deliver resources where they're needed. Plan your supply routes and strategically position your warehouses to maximize the efficiency of your buildings.

Search for Resources and Decide Where to Invest

Explore the map in search of gold deposits, forests, and stone quarries. Decide where to build and how to make the most of the available resources. When an area runs dry, you'll need to adapt and seek out new opportunities.

Compete for Territory

Bandits are also mining gold deposits, building camps, and recruiting new fighters. Discover their positions and decide when to confront them as you compete for control of the map's resources.

Gold Fever: Wild West combines base building, resource management, exploration, and combat in a stylized Wild West setting. Every game starts with limited resources. What you do with them is up to you.
