About This Game

You are an international learner studying Chinese with the 1000 Princes. Welcome to “Langlang Academy (琅琅学堂),” founded by Prince ZheMing of the Frog Kingdom. Its elegant New Chinese-style architecture combines contemporary design with the charm of traditional China. All 1000 Princes work here part-time as Chinese teachers, while a little pink pig serves as the academic assistant. You can choose from different levels and types of Chinese courses, beginning from absolute zero. The Jade Pearls you collect can be used to purchase items or give gifts.

In Chinese, “Langlang (琅琅)” can describe the clear, melodious sound of pieces of jade striking one another, as well as the bright, resonant sound of people reading aloud. Every Chinese learner is like a precious piece of jade. We look forward to hearing your reading voice echo through Langlang Academy.

How to Play and Learn

Step 1: Collect Jade Pearls

1. Check in every day to receive +2 Jade Pearls.

2. Complete a Chinese lesson to receive +2 Jade Pearls per lesson.

3. Ask questions about learning Chinese in the teachers' offices. Every 10 chat rounds earns you +5 Jade Pearls.

4. Post comments in the tea room and other comment areas. Each comment earns you +5 Jade Pearls.

This is your private course. You will not see other learners. The prince teachers teach and answer questions exclusively for you.

Step 2: Spend Your Jade Pearls

At the academy's convenience store, you can use Jade Pearls to purchase a variety of virtual items, including delicious Chinese food and snacks, everyday necessities, and more. You can also give gifts to the prince teachers to increase their “Trust Level.”

Step 3: Use “My Study Room”

You can save your favorite Chinese lessons as well as answers given to you by the prince teachers.

You can also use a study notebook, prince teacher calendar, to-do list, sticky notes, and other useful tools.

Step 4: Pay Tuition

Even without paying tuition, you can still study free courses at Langlang Academy. Paying tuition unlocks locked lessons and increases the number of AI chat and Q&A interactions available to you. Student tuition helps keep Langlang Academy running—and buys food for the little pig.

About the Developer

琴研 Ginyan. From 2015 to 2025, I independently published a large number of original romance novels and foreign-language learning e-books. I have loved K-pop and K-dramas since I was young, which inspired me to learn Korean and later study in Korea. I then worked as an online Korean teacher for 10 years.
