About This Game

Maydan is a single-player historical strategy and management game set in Mamluk Cairo. Build a fighting house from a modest school into a staffed estate and arena. Recruit named fighters, train them, equip them, and guide their careers through victories, injuries, rivalries and retirement.

Every fighter belongs to a persistent world. Scout rivals, prepare for different bouts, choose your team and tactics, and watch the action unfold in 2D arenas. Results shape records, relationships and the future of your house.

Beyond the sand, manage the people and supplies that make competition possible. Build homes and training facilities, hire workers, produce and trade goods, fund medical care, and balance wages against ambitious expansion. Develop your own arena and host visiting teams as your reputation grows.
