About This Game

SPLIT-S is a flight-combat roguelite inside a strange old computer. Choose a route through a hostile network, stake your operating funds, and fly short missions to keep your run alive. Return to the desktop to buy hardware and plan your next hop. Reach the vault before you go bankrupt.

Three ways to fly. One run.

Each route brings together three distinct flight modes. Fly side-on carrier raids in SIDE, maneuver over isometric complexes in QUAD, and manage thrust and independent aim above lunar terrain in MOON. Each mode asks you to learn a different kind of control.

Bring it home

Line up attack runs, break through defenses, complete your objective, and recover. A successful raid keeps the next mission within reach. Pursuit adds pressure as you move through the network, and your route choices decide what you face next.

Build your next advantage

Spend earned tokens on hardware through the underground board. Stock refreshes after successful missions, with one purchase per visit. Operating funds reset with each run; earned tokens, purchased hardware, and decode fragments stay with you.

The computer is part of the world

Between flights, return to a 640 × 480 desktop of modem connections, programs, manuals, and bulletin-board conversations. You are an AI construct working through a machine that still thinks it is 1987. The next sortie starts here.
