About This Game

It's not about the food - an Original Hong Kong Restaurant Seating Simulation Game

A typical Hong Kong lunch hour in a local diner is loud, fast, and choreographed by an unspoken set of rules. At the entrance, there is usually a line, but people do not get seated chronologically – it depends on the waiter who arranges the seat in the most efficient way to fit customers in the array of seats like tetris.

Very soon, the restaurant becomes a space where different walks of life intersect – students, office workers, tourists and local aunties share the same space, the same table, and drama unfolds: the office workers who want peace and quiet are pissed off by the noisy students; the local aunties’ grocery bags are taking up too much space that the tourists have nowhere to put their backpacks. Not to mention the sudden surge of customers due to the Rugby Seven Games and that obnoxious customer who refuses to take the seat near the washroom amidst the chaos.

And all these happen before the food actually arrives... Interestingly, all these social moments almost never appeared in any restaurant simulation sim. It is never about the food, The Noon Loop encapsulates the essence of Hong Kong in a local restaurant.
