Something followed you into town.

Route 17 went quiet. The radio is dead, the roads are closed, and Chalk Creek is no longer empty. Choose one of three stranded survivors and fight your way out of a sun-bleached rural settlement. It is overrun by the infected and by creatures that dig up through the soil.

Three strangers, one road out. Play as Dr. Maya Chen, a field scientist; Bo Mercer, a roadside mechanic; or Eddie Russo, a New York cab driver. Each has a different build, movement, voice and personal story.

An illustrated story campaign. Three chapters of objectives, defense surges and a guarded rescue, with narrated briefings and a personal ending for each survivor. Progress saves at chapter checkpoints.

Arcade operations. Survive nine waves across three changing days in Three-Day Holdout, or burn out three infestations in Clear the Perimeter. Chase your best score on local leaderboards across three difficulties.

Nine weapons, one bad day. M4 carbine, pump shotgun, M249, bazooka, the Helix beam, ARC-9 chain lightning, the Ember flamethrower, the Odin railgun and the M32 grenade launcher. Airdrops bring shields, overdrive, cryo rounds and an atomic strike. Level up mid-run to build from twelve perks.

A town that fights back. Cars and fuel drums explode in chains, signs fall and walls splinter. Rain, storms and mist roll through a full day–night cycle.

Visceral, readable combat. Eleven enemy types, each with its own silhouette and attack. Overwhelming hits tear creatures apart.

Full controller support. Play with mouse and keyboard, or pick up a controller: every menu, prompt and perk choice works on the pad, with rumble.
