About This Game

Somebody put a price on your ride, and now the whole desert is out collecting: bikers, rammers, gunners and a few who were just passing through. There's one way out — outlive them all and get to whoever set the price.

RULE 1 — DON'T STOP DRIVING

· Everything out here is faster than you. That's fine. Fast things overshoot. A drift takes you out from under a ram, a ramp takes you over the whole pack, and a hand's width from a post still counts as a miss.

RULE 2 — THEY HUNT YOU

· A rammer wants you sideways across the road. Nothing personal, it's the job. A gunner keeps his distance and ruins your paint. A scout litters the place with mines and doesn't look back. Bikers get under your wheels and seem to enjoy it.

RULE 3 — SAY YES TO BAD IDEAS

· Pick a turret — it aims itself, and that's the last sensible decision you'll make this run. After that, experiment. Results are on you.

RULE 4 — THE DESERT TAKES NOBODY'S SIDE

· Sand holds worse than asphalt. Quicksand doesn't hold at all. The explosive barrels stand exactly where you didn't want them. The canyon asks no questions.

RULE 5 — HE BET AGAINST YOU

· Whoever set the price was sure you'd never live long enough to reach him. Outlast the timer and you get to tell him he was wrong.

RULE 6 — YOU SPEND OTHER PEOPLE'S MONEY

· Credits from everyone who didn't make it go into new vehicles, new weapons and upgrades. Every vehicle drives differently: one takes a hit, another slips out from under it.

RULE 7 — THERE IS NO RULE SEVEN

· Short runs. Fast deaths. One more.
