The name is the goal

THIS GAME COSTS $500 is a single-player falling-block puzzle game. Your score is turned into an in-game dollar VALUE. Every run starts with a score of zero, and your first VALUE milestone is $0.01. Push your VALUE all the way to $500 to beat the game.

The $500 is an in-game goal only. It is not the price of the game, and you cannot earn, win or withdraw real money.

How you play

• Seven different four-block pieces fall onto a 10×20 board.
• Move, rotate in both directions, soft drop, hard drop, and hold one piece for later.
• A preview of the next three pieces and an optional ghost piece help you plan each placement.
• Fill a horizontal row completely to clear it. Clearing two, three or four rows with one piece scores more than clearing them one at a time.
• Clear lines with consecutive pieces to build a combo for bonus points. A piece that clears nothing ends the combo.
• Every 10 lines raises your level, up to level 21. Each new level makes pieces fall faster and increases the points for line clears.

How VALUE works

• Your score moves your VALUE up a fixed ladder of 10 milestones: $0.01, $0.10, $1, $5, $10, $25, $50, $100, $250 and $500.
• VALUE is shown on screen next to your score, together with how much is left to $500 and to the next milestone.
• Every milestone you reach is announced on screen with its own sound.

Reaching $500

When your VALUE reaches the $500 milestone, the game stops for a celebration screen: "$500 — YOU MADE IT." Choose CONTINUE to keep playing the same run and push your score higher, or return to the main menu.

Game over

A run ends when the stack reaches the top and the next piece has no room to enter the board. The results screen shows your score, lines, level, highest combo, play time, the highest VALUE you reached and your progress toward the next VALUE milestone, along with your personal best. Retry right away or return to the main menu.
