About This Game

The sixth team. The last chance.

The Allied advance has stalled at the German border. Behind it, General Konrad von Adler — the Iron Warden — holds the Reich's last industrial heartland. Armies cannot break him. A small team of volunteers nobody will miss might.

Five strike teams have gone behind his lines this winter. None came back. You command the sixth.

Turn-based squad tactics

• Every shot is a decision. Move through cover, flank the exposed, line up the shot over your soldier's shoulder — and watch the garrison answer.

• A squad of the Allies. Recruit American, British and Soviet riflemen, gunners, snipers, medics and officers. Promote the ones who survive. The ones who don't stay dead.

Spend Valor, or lose men

Every hit your squad lands earns Valor. Spend it on what wins impossible fights.

ASSAULT — the rifleman crosses the ground firing, taking on everyone he passes.

SPITFIRE — the gunner opens up on one edge of his arc and traverses to the other, cutting down whoever is standing in it.

ASSIST ME — call a squadmate to cover you, and he fires on the same target the moment you draw blood.

An officer's INSPIRE, a medic's field surgery and a sniper's PREPARATION round out the list.

A campaign with a target

• Seize crossroads, rescue couriers who carry von Adler's secrets, burn his fuel, silence his foundries and blind his railways.

• Each operation you finish opens the next. Story operations hunt his named officers — and end with the general himself.
