You are the Accursed, a herald of Death sent to the mortal world to guide souls to passage and bring peace to what is left after the Unbecoming. Traverse a hand-drawn post-calamity fantasy world and face fast-paced difficult combat centralized on a unique 2-HP system and customizable swappable abilities.

2-HP COMBAT

Instead of normal HP, the player is either full health, damaged, or dead, with all attack instances doing 1 damage. You can only take 2 hits without healing before you are Returned. Inspired by difficult LV1 runs of Kingdom Hearts and the brutality of Souls games, the game encourages a fast-paced, active approach while balancing out through heal gain and i-frame abilities.

SKILL SWAPS & BUILDS

ACCURSED features skills, ults, and ult buildup triggers, all of which can uniquely be swapped around to create different builds, alongside buff items like talismans and debuff-trade-off equippables. The swappable abilities offer dynamic attacks and mobility, matching the game’s aggressive pace with the two-hit system.

BUILT UPON REMEMBRANCE

Explore a remnant world that grieves its last, centralized on narrative decisions and completion. Equippables and buffs are accrued depending on these aspects. What you choose is reflected in the mechanics and playstyle. The game itself revolves around the central choice of granting the mercy — or, perhaps, cruelty — of death.
