What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Cargo Directorate already has its core logistics management experience in place, but we want player feedback to help shape its further development. Early Access gives us the opportunity to observe how players build their companies, plan routes, manage fleets and use automation, and to refine balancing, usability and progression based on real play.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We currently expect Cargo Directorate to remain in Early Access for approximately 6 to 12 months. This is an estimate rather than a fixed deadline, as development will also be influenced by player feedback and the areas that prove most valuable to improve.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“During Early Access, we plan to focus primarily on expanding and refining the existing logistics management experience. Potential areas include additional content and progression, deeper management options, further balancing and quality-of-life improvements, and continued improvements to presentation, usability and overall polish.

Our priorities may evolve based on player feedback and development progress, so these plans should be considered our current direction rather than a promise of specific features.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version provides a playable logistics company progression from a small transport operation toward a European network. Players can manage multiple vehicle classes and drivers, select freight contracts, combine partial loads, plan connected multi-leg tours, use return freight and empty repositioning, purchase or lease vehicles, maintain and resell their fleet, expand depots, develop customer relationships and automate routine dispatching.

The game also includes company finances, operating reports, vehicle condition and maintenance, long-term Company Mastery objectives, offline progression, and a stylized European map on which the growing transport network can be managed and observed.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We currently expect the Early Access price to reflect the amount of content available at launch. The price may increase as the game grows substantially in content, features and overall scope, including when it eventually leaves Early Access. Any price changes will be communicated in advance.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We plan to use Steam discussions and player feedback to identify balancing issues, usability problems, progression bottlenecks and areas of the logistics simulation that would benefit most from further development. Feedback on route planning, fleet economics, automation, company progression and interface clarity will be especially valuable.

We also intend to communicate meaningful updates through Steam and use feedback alongside our own testing and development goals when prioritizing improvements.”

About This Game

Build your logistics company across Europe.

Cargo Directorate is a single-player logistics management game about building a small freight operation into an efficient European transport network.

Start with a single van, a driver, and a limited budget. Choose contracts carefully, plan profitable routes, keep empty mileage under control, and reinvest your earnings into a growing fleet. As your company expands, new vehicle classes, cargo opportunities, depots, customers, financing options, and automation become available.

BUILD YOUR FLEET

Grow from small vans to heavy trucks. Buy vehicles outright or lease them to expand faster, assign drivers with different strengths, monitor vehicle condition, and decide when maintenance, replacement, or further investment makes financial sense.

PLAN CONNECTED FREIGHT TOURS

Don't treat every delivery as an isolated job. Combine compatible freight, plan multi-leg tours, use return freight, reposition vehicles when necessary, and keep your trucks earning instead of travelling empty.

EXPAND ACROSS EUROPE

Turn a local operation into a European logistics network. Open and upgrade depots, establish operations across multiple countries, develop valuable customer relationships, and watch your fleet move across a stylized map of Europe.

RUN THE BUSINESS

Revenue is only part of the equation. Fuel, wages, maintenance, depot expenses and financing all affect the bottom line. Follow your company's finances, compare opportunities by actual profitability, and decide how aggressively you want to grow.

AUTOMATE A GROWING OPERATION

As the company becomes larger, unlock dispatch automation to handle routine work while you focus on expansion, fleet strategy, customer relationships and the routes that deserve your attention.

MASTER YOUR LOGISTICS NETWORK

Company Mastery provides long-term objectives across fleet development, financial resilience, customer relationships, connected logistics and network efficiency. Build a company capable of operating across Europe — then continue developing it after reaching mastery.

KEY FEATURES

• Single-player logistics and company management
• A stylized European transport map with a visible moving fleet
• Multiple vehicle classes from vans to semi trucks
• Drivers with distinct operational traits
• Freight contracts, partial loads and capacity management

• Vehicle purchasing, leasing, depreciation and resale
• Maintenance and vehicle condition
• Expandable depot network
• Customer relationships and recurring contracts
• Detailed company finances and operating reports

Cargo Directorate is about the decisions behind the trucks — where they go, what they carry, who drives them, what they cost, and how a small freight company becomes a coordinated European logistics operation.
