THE SOUND OF A FALLEN KINGDOM

Archaic synths, slow melodies and dark ambient textures follow the path of every expedition: from the warmth and safety of the basecamp at Inner Gravhollow, down through the forsaken halls of the dwarves, and into the darkness where something ancient has awakened.

THE ARTISTS

From two Dungeon Synth masters — Splendorius, one of the most acclaimed artists in the genre, and Kurald Galain, multi-instrumentalist of the atmospheric black metal band Ammanas — comes the soundtrack for adventures deep under Rekestt.

Splendorius’s album was written specifically for DVERGHOLD. Kurald Galain’s The Palace of the Empty Throne was provided to Team Sorgarn, including an exclusive unsaturated mix of all tracks except Defeat In A Magical Duel not available anywhere else.

A personal note on this soundtrack by Splendorius:

"Working on this project came during one of the most difficult periods of my life.

I was experiencing profound transformations and grief right through the creative process. I was able to translate those experiences into music, which allowed me to capture a wonderfully dramatic atmosphere.

This is one of the best albums in the history of the genre, without a doubt."
